Fischer’s Lovebird
The Fischer’s lovebird for sale is a small-medium, long-tailed parrot. The sexes are similar in appearance, with the males having a red forehead and yellow cheek patch, while the females have a yellow cheeks and foreheads. Individuals have been known to live to over thirty years in captivity. It is considered a good pet for those who have experience handling lovebirds. This is due to its tendency for more energetic behavior than other lovebird species. If you’d like a bird, this is where to go (besides rescues!). Wonderful enrichment animal education focused staff, they even remembered me from 2 yrs ago, they care about the welfare of the birds there and even do local outreach and rescue. I feel incredible knowing I can support a business that doesn’t treat their small birds as disposable. It’s also a utopia of every kind of bird toy you could ever need, and so fun to see all the different parrots. Staff answered my questions for over an hour and were excited to be able to help.
